In 2015, Suzy’s parents attended at "Gwangju Universiade Promotion Ambassador Commissioned Ceremony" and her mother took picture with her.

Also in 2013, Suzy's father appeared on SBS "Healing Camp's" VCR letter to Suzy and said "since you(Suzy) have a lot of talents, I've set 8 PM curfew but I am regretful that I raised you too strict."
