[SBS Star] Lee Seung Gi Returns as Son Goku, First Day at the Drama Set

Korean actor, singer, entertainer, the well-rounded star Lee Seung Gi's back in 3 years! 

Earlier in October, Lee Seung Gi was officially discharged from the mandatory military duty. Since then, he has been preparing for the new TV series 'A Korean Odyssey (Hwayugi)'.

On November 13, actor Lee was seen at Gyeonggi-do, shooting for his first episode of 'A Korean Odyssey'. At the drama set, he was seen smiling with staff and sharing greetings with them politely. Then he was seen discussing his new role with a drama producer. 

After shooting for the first episode, Lee Seung Gi revealed, "I had so much fun working with film director Park Hong Gyun, he is very detail-oriented. He suggested some factors that can draw audiences attention better, beyond the scripts."

The drama production team said, "We were able to feel Lee Seung Gi's passion for acting. Our set was very lively. We wondered how he was able to hold his desire as an actor who plays the role of Son Goku. Stay tuned for how he'll carry out his part as Son Goku."
