Korean actor Lee Jung Jae revealed how he happens to star in upcoming movie 'Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds' due to his friendship.
On November 14, Lee Jung Jae attended 'Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds' press conference, which was held at Lotte Cinema in Konkuk University Station, Seoul.
Lee Jung Jae said, "At first I thought I just had to shoot it for three days for my friendship. But as time passed, production staff kept on telling me to come to the movie set and asked me to star in the movie. Then I found out that I was playing the role of king of the underworld."
Actor Lee continued, "A staff asked me to give her 3 days to test out clothes and special makeups for my character. Then she said my character appears two times in the movie. But I happen to go to the set for over 30 times."
He concluded, "I didn't know my friendship with film director Kim Yong-hwa was this deep."
Then filmmaker Kim Yong-hwa responded, "While I was writing the full script of the movie, I happen to put greater emphasis on his character. If I asked him to star in my movie, he usually contemplates for a long time, so I seduced him with a weak character to star in my movie."
Kim revealed, "I had a plan actually, seduce him with a weak role then, make him to play bigger portion in the movie. He makes appearance 30 times in the movie" and thanked actor Lee.
'Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds' is slated for release on December 20 of this year.
