[SBS Star] Girls' Generation's Tiffany, Seohyun, Sooyoung to Opt Out of SM Ent.
Just two months after celebrating their 10th debut anniversary, three members of K-pop girl group Girls' Generation left the group.

On September 10, SM Entertainment revealed Girls' Generation's Tiffany, Seohyun, and Sooyoung's contracts have been terminated and only Taeyeon, Yoona, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sunny have renewed their contracts with the label.

SM Entertainment announced, "Girls' Generation means a lot to us. We are not thinking about the group's disbandment at all. However, since there are members whose contracts have been terminated, we will discuss the future direction of Girls' Generation with the members and make a careful decision."

As girls have won numerous awards in overseas, their news about contract renews and termination have spread quickly in Japan, China, and all over the world, bringing global fans' attention.

One of the long-lasting girl groups Girls' Generation made a debut in 2007 with the track 'Into the New World'. Along with releasing its sixth album 'Holiday Night', girls have commemorated their decade long debut anniversary in August.
