[SBS Star] Song Joong-ki to Turn Down His Role for Netflix 'Kingdom'

Korean actor Song Joong-ki reportedly gave up his role for upcoming Netflix original drama 'Kingdom'.

On September 13, it was reported that 'Kingdom' production team is currently looking for a male lead role actor as Song Joong-ki turned down to take the role.

Song Joong-ki's management agency Blossom Entertainment stated, "Actor Song made his final decision to turn down 'Kingdom'. Nothing has been confirmed for his next project as of now."

'Kingdom' is a Netflix original drama series written by Kim Eun-hee, screenwriter for tvN's hit drama 'Signal'.
Meanwhile, Song Joong-ki is tying the knot with fellow actress Song Hye-kyo at the end of October this year.
