[SBS Star] Wanna One's Kang Daniel, "My mother has been boasting about me to her friends"

On August 7th, K-pop boy group Wanna One released its album and held concert for its debut. 

On the same day, Wanna One also had a press conference. Among Wanna One members, Kang Daniel has been getting the most attention lately.
A reporter asked, "Before and after shooting 'Produce 101 Season 2', there must be some change in your life. Can you share it with us?"

Kang Daniel answered, "When I was only a trainee, I wanted to be like EXO, BTS one day. I didn't know I could be like them until I took part in the program. It's like my dream come true to me."

He continued, "My mother must be proud of me. She has been boasting about me to her circle of friends. That makes me happy."
Wanna One's debut album is called '1X1=1' (TO BE ONE). The album title's '1' means 'I', 'X' means 'meet with', and '1' means 'you'. To sum it up, the album title means '11 boys will head toward the top like one'.

For Wanna One's debut title track, 'Energetic' has been chosen as it earned the most votes.
