Hana Bank Also Breached by AI Hacking... Personal Information of 89 People Leaked Hana Bank announced today that "it has been determined that the information of 89 people (resident registration numbers, names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, mobile numbers, and employer names) was leaked through external hacking forces." Hana Bank explained, "This stemmed from abnormal access attempted by an external hacking agent targeting our bank's 영업지원시스템." It added, "This system is a channel separate from internet and mobile banking transaction systems, and it has been confirmed that there is no relation to the leakage of customers' financial transaction information." Hana Bank is in the process of individually notifying affected customers and plans to provide full compensation in accordance with relevant regulations if actual damage occurs due to the information leak in the future.
